Thunderbolt Sports Academy is committed to nurturing the next generation of football and basketball stars by providing quality weekend training in a fun, safe, and supportive environment. Open to both boys and girls aged 3–14 years, the academy focuses on developing technical skills, physical fitness, teamwork, discipline, and confidence. Training sessions are conducted across multiple centres, ensuring children from different communities have easy access to professional coaching and an opportunity to reach their full potential.
Training Schedule
Our training sessions are carefully planned to provide an enjoyable and productive experience for every participant. Sessions run from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, offering four hours of structured coaching, skill development, and fun-filled activities. This schedule gives young athletes ample time to learn, practice, and improve their abilities in a safe, engaging, and supportive environment.

- Based at Sir Apollo Kaggwa P/S Kisaasi, this training centre features excellent sports facilities designed to support young athletes in their development. - SIR APOLLO KAGGWA P/S MENGO
- Conveniently located in Mengo, Sir Apollo Kaggwa Primary School – Mengo provides a safe and welcoming environment for young children to learn, play, and grow through sports. The spacious playing grounds and accessible location make it an ideal training centre for participants from Mengo and the surrounding communities, offering the perfect setting for fun, skill development, and organized sporting activities.

- Situated in a prime location, Sir Apollo Kaggwa Primary School – Kitintale is the perfect venue for young children to learn, play, and develop their sporting talents. The spacious and secure playing ground provides an excellent environment for our training and activities, serving participants from Kitintale, Luzira, and the surrounding neighborhoods with easy access and quality facilities.

- Kira’s training center, hosted by SIR APOLLO KAGGWA P/S KIRA, provides a unique and enriching environment. The ground is perfect for our activities to participants in Kiira, Namugongo, Sonde, Kulambiro, Kisaasi, Bweyogerere and neighboring areas.
- SIR APOLLO KAGGWA P/S Old Kampala. Situated in a prime location, SIR APOLLO KAGGWA P/S Old Kampala is the perfect venue for young children to learn, play, and develop their sporting talents. - CITY PARENTS’ SCHOOL.Conveniently located in Mengo, CITY PARENTS’ SCHOOL ALONG KABAKA ANJAGALA ROAD provides a safe and welcoming environment for young children to learn, play, and grow through sports. The spacious playing grounds and accessible location make it an ideal training centre for participants from Mengo and the surrounding communities, offering the perfect setting for fun, skill development, and organized sporting activities.
Fees Structure – One hundred thousand Shillings per month (UGX 100,000/-)
The weekend training program is structured to provide a complete development experience for young athletes by focusing on key areas of basketball and soccer growth. Participants are guided through mental, technical, tactical, and physical training, while also gaining important life skills such as teamwork, discipline, confidence, and leadership both on and off the field.
The TSA Weekend Training Program is a comprehensive initiative designed to identify, nurture, and develop young basketball and soccer talent. Through structured coaching sessions across multiple centres, the program provides children with an inclusive and supportive environment to learn, improve, and enjoy the game. By combining technical development with fun, teamwork, discipline, and personal growth, TSA helps participants build a strong foundation for their future in sports
